2017 sugaring season is here!

This is a SAPCAM capture of fresh green sap flowing into our big 2600 gallon tank at the sugarhouse. It's always exciting to feel this quickening of the earth's forces, even though soon it will retreat into another frozen sleep for a few weeks. We've made 320 gallons of syrup so far - and this year our syrup is certified organic and Biodynamic - shout out to Demeter crew who are so helpful and make the process joyful!
